Our Story

ConnectLA — Louisiana's Office of Broadband Development and Connectivity — leads the state's efforts to close the digital divide, ensuring every resident has access to the reliable, high-speed internet needed to work, learn, and thrive.

State and local leaders joined ConnectLA, community stakeholders and Optimum today to mark the completion of a broadband expansion project delivering reliable, high-speed internet access across Sabine Parish.

What We Do

Connect

We work with internet service providers to fund broadband network construction that brings reliable internet to homes, businesses, and community spaces that previously lacked access.

Equip

We partner with schools, nonprofits, and other community organizations to put free devices and digital skills resources directly in the hands of residents who need them.

Strengthen

We work with local governments and community partners to fund the construction of health centers, workforce training spaces, and other facilities that give residents a place to get online close to home.
